How to Bathe Like Cleopatra
Cleopatra, the ancient queen of Egypt, was said to bathe in milk. Although this might sound silly at first, she bathed in milk because it softens your skin.
Steps
- Fill the bathtub up with water.
- Add about 6 cups of milk to the water. Swish and swirl it around so that the water becomes white.
- Get in the bath. You should stay in for about ten minutes.
- Rinse with clean, clear water.
Tips
- You don't have to use 6 cups, but make sure you use no less then 4 cups and no more than 8 cups.
- Bathing in milk may seem gross, but it really isn't! It softens your skin, it's calming, and you rinse it off when your done anyway.
- If you want, you can add a little bit of honey (1/4 teaspoon at the least and 1/2 cup at the most). You don't have to add honey because it's sticky and can be kind of gross.
- You can also add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the bath if you want.
